Le Mars is located roughly 30 miles from Sioux City and 80 miles from Sioux Falls. Wherever you're traveling from, we hope Le Mars feels like coming home for Christmas.

There's so much to celebrate at Christmas in Hometown Le Mars, and we don't want you to miss any of it. Here's some information to help you make the most of your visit.

There are multiple places to park in downtown Le Mars. There are various city lots along with ample parking on city streets.

There are many different free activities planned throughout the celebration. Only a few activities have fees associated with them. Our Event Schedule has a listing on all events and activities with a designation in the description if they are free or there is a fee that goes with it.

There are many different businesses open downtown throughout the day to not only warm up in, but to shop for something special. There will also be some portable heaters spread throughout the Olson Cultural Events Center to help you warm up.

Some businesses do have public restrooms, but there are public restrooms located at the intersection of Plymouth and 1st Avenue NE. There will also be portable restrooms for public use.

Not only is the Wells’ Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor and Habitué Coffeehouse & Bakery right in the heart of the activities, but we’ll also have food available from the Knights of Columbus, The Browns Chocolates, Jack’s Kettle Corn, and other flavorful local vendors!
